Brunch Series | Butchers and Bakers

It’s been on our bucket list for almost a year now (since the restaurant first opened, really). We’ve heard only positive things about this hidden gem, and even more positive reviews about their brunch specials.

So last weekend we finally got a chance to check out Butchers and Bakers in Farmington, and safe to say – the hype is real.

What we loved about Butchers and Bakers brunch:

They offer brunch on Saturday AND Sunday (finally a place that offers brunch not just on Sundays, ammiright?).

Even though the restaurant is large, it still has a super cozy, comfortable and laid back vibe that makes you want to hang out here for hours. You don’t have to worry about getting all dressed up either, we saw many people here in yoga pants and sweatshirts, clearly recovering from the night before.

For the approx. four hours we sat here eating, drinking and hanging out – we never felt rushed or bored (there are TV’s here as well which makes it great for sports game days).

They have a pretty lengthy beer list, with the usual local craft suspects – we opted for the Two Roads 2 Juicy.

Bloody mary bar and bottomless bloody marys and mimosas for only $20 – can’t beat that.

Oh, and the food was DELICIOUS. We did an order of the steak eggs benedict, an order of the Butcher’s block which came with lamb loin (mouthwatering) and homemade sausage.
