Hartford Baking Co. Grand Opening Celebration
Hartford Baking Co. couldn’t have picked a more suitable setting to open their second location. Right smack dab in the middle of West Hartford center on Farmington Ave., their newest location is a two-story carb & caffeine lovers paradise.
The New Location
One of our favorite parts about Hartford Baking Co.’s West Hartford location is the second floor – from long wooden tables, to the window counter with a bonus view of Farmington Ave (it really makes for some of the best people watching).
The simple, modern-like vibe of this cafe makes it the perfect place to relax and maybe even catch up on some emails or school work. Plus, it’s one of the only spots in the center that serves breakfast all day long (‘Whole Cinnamon Walnut Coffee Cake’ pastry for lunch? sold).
Grand Opening Celebration
In order to celebrate their grand opening in West Hartford, as well as their 7th year anniversary, Hartford Baking Co. will be having their ‘7 Years & 2 Stores Celebration’ this Thursday, August 31st from 7AM-7PM.
We strongly suggest that you stop in before your way to work, as they’re giving away free ‘special’ bread to the first 25 customers that walk through the door. Also, they make a great pit stop for some morning coffee and one of the best avocado toasts you’ve ever tasted.
If you’re just not an early riser, they will be offering all of their other breads for half price until 7PM.
For those of you don’t know what their bread menu consists of:
- Peasant or Country Sourdough
- Honey Wheat
- Sesame Semolina
- Brioche
- Parkerhouse
- Artisan Ciabatta (one of our personal favs)
- French Country
And if for some odd reason you’re not looking to take home a loaf of delicious artisan bread, at least stop in and check out the new place, and tell them weHartford says welcome to the neighborhood!
