Meet Hartford’s newest coffee gem: Story and Soil Coffee
Immediately upon entering Story and Soil, you feel like you’re in a Pinterest board of your dreams. Walls filled with succulents and exposed brick, coffees served in mason jars with steel straws, vintage hanging light bulbs and a location right across from the beautiful Capitol Lofts; the interior of this place feel like a hipster coffee shop located in the streets of Boston.
Rather, it’s located right on Capitol Ave in Hartford. Passing by, it’s hard to miss the outside picnic tables and hanging blue sign; bringing a sense of welcomeness and eclectic vibes to the block.
The menu board is filled with more than just your basic lattes and espressos. Instead, you’ll find espresso tonics and floats, coffee three ways, spanish lattes, and specialty drinks like ‘coconut honey lavender lattes’, and ‘cascara dark & stormy.’
Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without a side of avocado toast or a giant homemade cinnamon chip muffin.
We’re thinking this might be our new spot to groove out and get some sh*t done (with a warm almond milk cappuccino in hand)… that is until their neighbor Little River Restoratives opens.
