‘Summer in the City 2017’ Last Events of the Season
There are just a couple of events left for ‘Summer in the City 2017‘ and we wanted to showcase these last few community-based happenings (before it turns into full blown pumpkin spice season).
Summer in the City Pop-up Celebration!
When: Wednesday, August 30th from 11:30AM – 2:30PM
Where: Burr Mall (next to the Wadsworth Atheneum, under the legendary Stegosaurus sculpture)
What: Celebrate the city of Hartford with live music, lawn games, a collaborative post-it art mural and more. An ‘I Have a Dream’ ice cream truck will be passing out FREE ice cream if you tell them your dream for Hartford. Later on, local artist Constanza Gowen-Segovia, will be live drawing your dream.
Hartford Capital City PrideFest
When: Saturday, September 9th, 12 – 6PM
Where: Pratt Street
What: You don’t want to miss out on this unique and festive event. The third annual PrideFest in Hartford will feature live music, local vendors, community organizations, talented artists, and performers. People will be filling Pratt Street to create this inclusive day to celebrate our entire community.
And because love always wins, especially in Hartford.
