Beer Garden and Outdoor Patio Opens at Hartford’s Spectra Wired Cafe

Anyone who works or lives in downtown Hartford knows that the city has been missing a casual spot to sit outside, relax, have a couple drinks and play some yard games.

Well, just in time for summer, Spectra Wired Cafe, located at 5 Constitution Plaza, excitedly announced the addition of their bar, Bar5. This new outdoor patio and beer garden offers a trendy and spacious area to drink, eat, play games, or just hang out.

Sip on $5 cocktails like a Bee’s Knees, Tequila Collins, Bourbon Smash, Cool Mule or classic Mojito.

For the beer geeks, Bar5 offers craft beers on draft from local breweries like Boondoggle and Hanging Hills.

Not in the mood for a cocktail or beer? Bar5 also offers a large variety of proseccos, red and white wines.

When you order the perfect drink, step outside and relax underneath the hanging string lights, banging playlist and good company.

From classic games like Jenga and Chess to the always hilarious, Cards Against Humanity, Bar5 has plenty of games for you to pick up and bring outside. Or, start up a game of corn hole on the turf.

This new outdoor patio is within walking distance to many of downtown Hartford’s businesses, so it makes for the perfect lunch or after work hangout spot. Or if you’re looking for a quicker way there, hop on a LimeBike and park it right outside of the bar.

Be sure to also check out their Summer Kick-Off event this upcoming Wednesday, 06/27. Chief Brody’s Banh Mi Food Truck will be parked outside, Hartford Flavor Company will be giving away free samples of their liqueurs and live Jazz music will be playing by Saxman David Davis.
