This year, we can still enjoy Hartford holiday traditions from the comfort of our home! TheaterWorks is providing a discounted streaming of “Christmas on the Rocks” when you pair it with a holiday-themed meal from our participating Downtown restaurant partners: Vaughan’s Public House, Republic at the Linden, or Artichoke Basille Pizza.

The specially curated meals will come in holiday-themed packaging and will be available for pickup at the restaurant locations, so you can take them home for a special night-in with loved ones. You can choose from December 26th, 29th, or 31st (a fun way to ring in the New Year!). These make GREAT Christmas gifts while simultaneously helping to support our local Hartford restaurants who need our help right now.

What you need to know:

  • Each restaurant will offer a Regular menu and a Vegan or Vegetarian option
  • You will purchase the streaming production with your first meal at $45, and then will be able to select additional add-on meals for $25 each
  • You will pick up your meal on the date of the ticket at the location of the restaurant at 5:00pm (unless you call the restaurant directly to adjust your pickup time —must be done by 2:00pm that day!)
  • You will receive an email on the day of the show with the link to the streaming production, which you will be able to watch at any time for 24 hours
  • Refunds are not available for this event, so please plan accordingly

The Menus by restaurant:

  • Vaughan’s Public House: Choice of Shepherd’s Pie or Guinness Lamb Stew with Brown Bread and Guinness Brownie with house-made Irish cream, chocolate sauce, and caramel
  • Republic at the Linden: Menu TBA shortly!
  • Artichoke Basille Pizza: Choice of Meatballs and Ricotta OR Garlic Knots appetizer, and choice of any two personal pies (see below for full menu). Customer will need to call the restaurant directly with your ticket reservation number to place custom order.
